Glee - The Christmas Album

By now you have enough promotion, YouTube videos and exposed to interpretations of old songs about the 1980, what is "Glee". The NBC show took a stranglehold on the spirit of the time, almost to the point of overload, and just when think that the show has jumped the shark, is a Christmas album ready, stuff the stockings.

When teenagers hear them singing Journey songs was not enough for you, now you can hear them playing interpretations of your favorite songs of Christmas. Alland his mother a Christmas album is out - why do not they?

This is not intended as a slap in the stars of the show - all of which are passable, some even have fantastic voices. It 'just a matter of if we, the consumers are ready, another Christmas album clog the shelves. I think so!

Glee - The Christmas Album

Glee - The Christmas album is a nice, simple Christmas album. Although not surprising, is innovative in every song, if glee provides an addict, you feel yourFavorite artists singing these timeless standards and share with you some Christmas cheer during the festive season.

The opening cut: "We need a little Christmas" is harmless enough. The song is not popular enough to warrant a lot of variants. The second cut, "Deck the Rooftop", using the formula of Glee, two songs and turn them into something new.

Fans of this track is to hear a good, interesting and adds some spice to the album. It takes atraditional song "Deck The Halls", and the secular, modern "on the Roof" song, mixes them and adds some funky beats. It was not to my taste, but it's worth listening to, so you have your opinion and rock in the process!

The real star of the album is Chris Colfer, who takes command of the "Baby it's cold outside." Apart from the obvious wink-eye view of two Men singing lyrics like "Bella, do not run," Colfer is gender bending the upper right is dead. DarrenCriss, a counter melody with the challenge is to find Colfer is just a distraction.

What I found were very ambitious songs that have a good reputation with artists of the past. My personal opinion is that Karen Carpenter is a monopoly of "Merry Christmas Darling" is necessary. Hold me for a different version is not easy.

That is, the pride in this era of the '80s Flashback, was probably inevitable that the children most recent hip on the block would be a crack in an alternativePlay Wham "Last Christmas", a great song for the first time around and interesting exploration of the glee club.

Another highlight: Lea Michele did a great Job with "O Holy Night," a song that soon became a favorite of artists who want to show their voice.

Not surprisingly, the best up-tempo songs - you can feel the energy in the performers' voices in songs like "Jingle Bells" and the aforeMentioned "We need a Little Christmas." Theslower songs are a bit 'more cautious, speaking personally, I like a little' risk-taking in my music.

The lowest point? "You have an average One, Mr. Grinch is". Matthew Morrison is not only present as the narrator, while kd lang is brought to sing, but not yet built and sent the result is a flat performance, growling or muscle.

In short, Jason - The Christmas Album enthusiastic fans and a welcome addition to their collections, but in an era when every star and DisneyCountry singer has a Christmas album - heck, even Twisted Sister has a record - it is a very niche product, right to know and love the people and the style glee.
